Ganapathi bappa morya......

First of all wish you all a very happy Ganesh chaturthi. May the lord of fortune bless you along with rddhi and sddhi. This year, September 5th marks the beginning of this festival which is also called as Vinayaka Chaturthi. Here are some quick facts about the festival:

The festival begins on Shukla Chaturthi which is the fourth day of the waxing moon period, and ends on the 14th day of the waxing moon period known as Anant Chaturdashi.

Maharashtra is the state known for grand scale Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

During the festival, colourful pandals (temporary shrines) are setup and the Lord is worshiped for ten days.

There are four main rituals during the festival - Pranapratishhtha - the process of infusing the deity into a murti or idol, Shhodashopachara - 16 forms of paying tribute to Ganesha, Uttarpuja - Puja after which the idol could be shifted after it's infusion, Ganpati Visarjan - immersion of the Idol in the river.

The festival was celebrated as a public event since the time of Maratha King Shivaji, but a Sarvajanik (Public) Ganesh idol was installed first by Bhausaheb Laxman Javale.

Lokmanya Tilak changed the festival from a private celebration to a grand public event "to bridge the gap between Brahmins and non-Brahmins and find an appropriate context in which to build a new grassroots unity between them".

Lord Ganesha is also worshiped in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Nepal and China.

Happy Teachers'day......

means teacher is greater than all the lords so i bow to the teacher with all respect. well today it is teachers day and hope everyone is aware of that.
India celebrates teachers' day every year on 5th september on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan since 1962. Dr. radhakrishnan was a great scholar and teacher, later he became president of India.
It is truly said that teachers are like back bone of our society. They play a great role in building up the characters of students and shape them to become an ideal citizens of India.Teachers teach students very carefully and sincerely just like their own children. It is well said that teachers are great than the parents. Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers shape his/her character and make future bright. Thus we never forget and ignore them, we always respect and love them. Our parents are responsible for giving us love and quality care however our teachers are responsible for making whole future bright and successful. They let us know the importance of education in our life through their continuous efforts. They are the source of inspiration to us which help us to go ahead and get success. They motivate us towards study by giving examples of great personalities all over the world. They make us so strong and prepare to withstand any obstacle of the life. They become full of immense knowledge and wisdom using which they nourish our lives. Come on my dear friends, say together that ‘our respected teachers we are always grateful to you for all you do to us’. My dear friends we should always obey our teachers orders and follow their advice to be the worthy citizens of India.
Thank You

What is INCREDIBLE about INDIA? (Introduction)

This time is quite good for India as she is progressing in almost all the directions whether it is technological field, or space science, medical facilities, research facilities, education field etc. Recently in Rio Olympics also our athletes made us proud. Few days back Indian space research organisation (ISRO) successfully tested scram jet engine technology. India's foreign relations are getting strength. Basic infrastructure and fundamental facilities are being developed in rural areas.
Besides all these modern developments, India has a rich culture and is a hub of great tourist attractions like- Taj mahal which is also called world's 8th wonder, gateway of india, qutb minar etc. but it is quite saddening to see something like this;
